Spotify Wrapped Predictions
since i've been listening to BEP all day and night it made me think about my spotify wrapped this year cus its gonna be AWFUL once again i just know it. spotify wrapped is kind of my worst nightmare when people ask me what my top songs are because it solely depends on what my brain decides it NEEDS to loop for 2 full weeks at a time. like im not even just talking "man i loved this song sooo much i put it in 7 playlists and looped it for an hour once hahah" no im talking 3000 plays and the first and 100th listen were on the same day.
for a little background information im going to show what we have to work with from the past.
previous years include:
bee swarm music!! sadly stickbug didnt make the cut but you can see its 6th so it almost did. if only i was a little less into CHIHIRO and Angèle it woulda all been bee swarm. im surprised BEP didnt make the cut because this was the year of the incident so it should DEFINITELY be there. i also got a personalized fan message from them which im sure they only had to make for me specifically so idk why they arent there.
2023 was arguably my normalest year overall. nothing strange that i was looping at the time made the cut. it was just a lot of poppy and gorillaz cus both got a new album and ofc im gonna be listening to poppy 24/7. this was the last year i got in poppys extreme top listeners i think it was 0.005? im not sure but it wasnt as extreme as the other years unforch.
the start of the angry birds downfall. i genuinely listened to that song like 2500 times or something in 2022. idk its just so good i still put it on sometimes but man i really really loved that song man and i will die on that hill. i do remember everyone in my bio class were sharing their wrapped when it came out and this girl was like "haha my top song is a pitbull song i listened to it 103 times this year lmaooo" and i just turned my phone in shame at my Angry Birds Theme on my screen with the number 2531 listens under it. oh shoutout to the little nightmares fan song that song is still a banger id put it on any day.
so you will notice angry birds theme is there once again. thats uhhhhhh. anyways. no one ever talk to me about christmas kids that song was played way too much while i was severely messed up like something was so wrong w me then and all i listened to was christmas kids during it. i think i was somewhat psychotic in this era tbh but christmas kids just messes me up to hear at all now cus of then. same with safe socks i used to listen to it while yearning to be sent to dababy so uhh.
oh i also wanted to add my 6th that didnt make the cut but i think its very important to doccument that i was addicted to 21st century vampire at this time in my life. i fully know nothing about lil huddy or anyone who was in the hype house (?) but something about that song man.
this one is NOT getting fully leaked to the public no one needs to know whats on here. the top one is just an absolutely ruined song in my head and the other ones dont worry about them okay. i only included this one because i listened to I WANNA SEE SOME ASS while playing minecraft (which was 24/7 in covid) and also looped it to fall asleep. same with miku i needed to put miku in here because its very important. i also used that song to fall asleep every night at the time. anyways 2020 woo yeah.
anything before that i shared my account with my friend or it involves pentatonix which i just do not want to look at right now for. reasons.
ANYWAYS back to the actual point of the blog which is my predictions for this year. personally i think a LOT of different types of things can make it this year and im not at all confident in any of my answers cus every single year i have an idea of what will be on there and its NEVER accurate. i think this year ill have:
- the skype ringtone
ok so this one i KNOW has to be on there. ive been listening to it to sleep thruout this year. i used to listen to it from a 10 hour mix on youtube but it would make my phone overheat a lot so i switched to spotify. i havent listened to it THATTT much but like ive definitely looped it for a full night before which usually gets things on there.
- any of the BEP songs
probably like 2 or 3 will make it. i KNOW imma be will be on there because i love the song and loop it constantly. i listen to the album any time i feel like im starting to lose touch with reality which is kind of a lot. ive been tweaking out before MULTIPLE parties this year so its definitely heavily in there. i did also listen to it a LOT last year too like that was the year of BEP so idk why it wasnt on there so maybe ill be surprised
- APT ?
this one im less sure about cus i dont really remember when i started looping it but i SWORE it was gonna be on my 2024 wrapped and it just. wasnt. but maybe itll come up this year?? idk i dont listen to it much.
- TV girl
i dont know why TV girl never ever shows up on my wrapped cus i genuinely listen to them so much but i feel like itll PROBABLY show up this year?? ill listen to TV girl if im super duper depressed and wanna eat bugs but i also listen to it if i just want the vibes so it has a lot of potential this year. ive had quite a few TV girl moments this year so.

this one is like ehhh cus tbh i only listened to it like a couple times this year max? probably like once or twice but also both of those might have been on my CD player so it might not even count but you never know if i accudentally looped it more than i remember but it really wasnt much.
- anything from brat
i dont have anything against brat at all like all the songs are good but itll just clog up anything interesting showing up on the rank which i dont want. also spotify LOVES to put any brat song in all my mixes or autoplay so like it might show up but i dont really want it to.
i guess thats about it for now cus obviously only half the year has passed but you never know maybe i wont change at all in the next 6 months. but also ive been mainly listening to stuff on my CD player this year so its going to be VERY biased this year. paris will change all that cus ill only really have spotify yk. we'll seeeeeee.
